Rakesh Malik - Producer, Award Winning Director of Photography
Estalished Director of Photography, Instructor at GoAction Film School Freelance Writer at Red Shark News, with strong experience in Compositing, I've filmed over 40 short films, corporate videos, and commercials.
As an award winning Director of Photographer on three independent feature films, "Chased", "You and Me, Me and You", and the music video "Rhythm Oil" have won festival awards.
After studying the physics behind cameras in college, my interested in photography only grew when I started hiking, and developing my artistic skill has been nothing but a rewarding venture. A number of my photographs have gotteninto art galleries and curated at art shows, including having one of my photographs from Patagonia selected for a print exhibition in the Louvre. As I transitioned from film to digital, I also became curious about motion pictures, and ended up making a promotional video for a TEDx conference, an experience that got me hooked on cinematography.
With over 40 short films and two feature films, some of those have gotten festival awards, including Best Short, Best Director, and a nomination for Best Picture.

I've been four years in this business specializing in portraits, editorial, street, interior and commercial photography. I keep versatile to build on new ideas and their uniqueness. I create moody environments around my subjects to tell a story with my photographs. My adoption of film compositions' directly evoke emotions I intend to transmit thourhg the visual language I create.
I love conceptualized photoshoots, where we can expand our vision and play with all the things we have in order to create the perfect atmosphere. I've collaborated with art directors, MUAs, stylists, photographers, and more to reach the desired vibe/mood for the project. My passionate for fashion, beauty, music, film, aligns powerfully with my education in International Business Management, navigating the economic landscape.
My work has allowed me to meet the most talented souls in the artistic industry who have inspired me in many ways and continue to fuel my innovation on new concepts for my photographs. I am currently based in Vancouver, I'm very excited to be developing in the film/photographic industry.

Vanessa is a producer who sees visual storytelling as a powerful, magical and universal art form. Combining creativity, technology and establshed business skillsets, she develops idea and make it profitable. This drives her inspires to establish a career in the film industry.
During my academic journey where I specialized in Business Development and Marketing, I found a new interest in visual arts. As a graduate, I landed my first job in a Motion Capture Studio at Animatrik Film Design where we develop motion capture film and leading edge video game production that are leading the way in tomorrow's entertainment industry. As a producer, my value is established through quick problem solving that gets results as a team player, streamlining the pre to post-production in video and leading edge motion capture technology sets.
Currently, I'm the Producer of a various films that contribute to a creative vision integrating the fundamentals of art, business and technology.
